Er is eigenlijk geen sprake van een Amerikaans bedrijf. Een van de medewerkers van de film (die ook te vinden is in de indrukwekkende cast en crewlijst op IMDB.COM) was Dennis McCarthy. Hij huurde een stel autosleutelaars in, huurde een bedrijfspand en kocht een enorm aantal (bestaande) auto's. Als ik het goed heb begrepen zijn er zelfs duplicaten gemaakt, zodat die auto's niet steeds van de ene naar de andere filmset vervoerd hoefden te worden.

After all, duplicates were needed of every car to ensure the production never had to slow down; to perform specific stunts; and to be wrecked in the most spectacular way possible."
