Denk dan goed na of je deze nog gebruikt. Zonnebrandproducten kunnen namelijk bederven. Vaak staat onderaan op de verpakking een klein icoontje met de letter &lsquo;m&rsquo; en een getal ervoor. De m staat voor het woord maand en het getal staat voor de hoeveelheid maanden. Meestal staat er bij zonnebrand &lsquo;12m&rsquo;. Dit houdt in dat de cr&egrave;me na opening nog 12 maanden houdbaar is. Let goed op: dit gaat alleen over de zonnebrand, niet over de beschermingsfactor. Het belangrijkste onderdeel van de zonnebrandcr&egrave;me, die ook zijn werking kan verliezen. <\/p><p>Na opening vermindert deze beschermingsfactor. Hoe langer de fles open is, hoe minder goed het product je beschermt. De SPF wordt minder door contact met licht, zuurstof en warmte. Hoe het precies zit? Normaliter verbrand je zonder zonnebrandcr&egrave;me binnen 10 minuten. Dit betekent dat je met factor 30 in principe 300 minuten in de zon kan zitten, voordat je verbrandt. Als je zonnebrand geopend is, neemt de beschermingsfactor elk jaar 3 tot 5 punten af. Voor de zekerheid kan je het beste rekenen met de helft. Dit betekent dat je geopende fles van factor 30 een jaar later je maar 150 minuten beschermt. <\/p><div>\n          <style>\n        .sh-player-container {\n          min-height: 250px;\n        }\n      <\/style>\n        <div class=\"sh-player-container\">\n      <div id=\"sh-player-location-664988\" class=\"sh-player-location\" data-vr-zid=\"AAFxSiPS6-oktwTD\"><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-waar-staat-spf-precies-voor\">Waar staat SPF precies voor?<\/h2><p>SPF staat voor Sun Protection Factor, oftewel zonbeschermingsfactor in het Nederlands. Het is een maatstaf voor de mate van bescherming die een zonnebrandproduct biedt tegen de schadelijke effecten van de zonnestralen. De SPF-waarde geeft aan hoe lang je met het product in de zon kunt blijven voordat je huid begint te verbranden, in vergelijking met wanneer je geen zonnebrandmiddel zou gebruiken. Bijvoorbeeld, als je huid zonder zonnebrandmiddel binnen 10 minuten zou verbranden, zou een product met een SPF van 30 theoretisch 30 keer langer bescherming bieden, dus ongeveer 300 minuten of vijf uur.<\/p><div>\n    <section id=\"section-ad-banner-r3\" class=\"section-ad-banner\">\n    <div class=\"container\">\n      <div class=\"banner-target-rx\" data-aceslot=\"r3\" id=\"aa-blog_r3_151761\">\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/section>\n<\/div><p>Het is belangrijk om te onthouden dat de SPF-waarde alleen betrekking heeft op bescherming tegen UVB-straling, die verantwoordelijk is voor verbranding van de huid. Het beschermt niet tegen UVA-straling, die verantwoordelijk is voor huidveroudering en kan bijdragen aan huidkanker. Daarom is het aanbevolen om een breed spectrum zonnebrandmiddel te gebruiken dat zowel tegen UVB- als UVA-straling beschermt.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hoe-bewaar-je-zonnebrand\">Hoe bewaar je zonnebrand? <\/h2><p>Zonnebrandcr&egrave;me kan 3 jaar goed blijven, mits je de fles op de juiste manier bewaart. Hoe je dat doet? Bewaar het product op kamertemperatuur in een donkere ruimte waar het niet vochtig is. Leg de cr&egrave;me altijd uit de zon. Wikkel hem het liefst in een handdoek als je gaat zonnen op het <a data-track-event-action=\"strand\" data-track-event-category=\"Blog\" data-track-event-label=\"https:\/\/www.startpagina.nl\/#q=strand\" href=\"https:\/\/www.startpagina.nl\/#q=strand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">strand<\/a>. Als het product warm wordt, vermindert de factor. Een ongeopende fles zonnebrand is minimaal 30 maanden houdbaar. <\/p><div>\n    <section id=\"section-ad-banner-r4\" class=\"section-ad-banner\">\n    <div class=\"container\">\n      <div class=\"banner-target-rx\" data-aceslot=\"r4\" id=\"aa-blog_r4_145736\">\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/section>\n<\/div><p>Tot slot: als je zonnebrandcr&egrave;me vies ruikt, niet meer mengt na het schudden of een rare kleur heeft &ndash; is het beter om hem weg te gooien.
