De fout bleef voor lange tijd ongemerkt. Dit incident heeft een grote impact op de getroffen pati&euml;nten en hun toekomst. Wat was de oorzaak van de softwarefout en hoe nu verder?<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-12-patienten-misliepen-donorkans\">12 pati&euml;nten misliepen donorkans<\/h2><p>Een foutieve software-update afgelopen jaar bij Eurotransplant zorgde ervoor dat pati&euml;nten, die met spoed een donornier nodig hadden, geen aanbod ontvingen. <\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.startpagina.nl\/#q=overheid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Minister<\/a> Agema van Volksgezondheid noemde het een grote teleurstelling voor de betrokken pati&euml;nten. De Nederlandse Transplantatie Stichting (NTS) had haar eind januari op de hoogte gebracht van de misser.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-gevolgen-van-de-softwarefout\">Gevolgen van de softwarefout<\/h2><p>De fout bleef maandenlang onopgemerkt, waardoor 56 pati&euml;nten in verschillende Europese landen mogelijke transplantatieaanbiedingen misten. Tijdens deze update werd een cruciaal algoritme verkeerd geconfigureerd, wat leidde tot onjuiste prioritering van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.startpagina.nl\/blog\/organen-doneren-donor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">donor<\/a>-pati&euml;nten op de wachtlijst.
